I had bad acne issues when I was 14-19 years old. It decreased my self-confidence a lot.
I will share some facial care tips which I adopted and found effective.
I use Neutrogena Deep Clean Foaming Cleanser. I feel it thoroughly washes my face and leaves a clean and refreshing feeling. There are many brands and types of facial wash and different people react differently to them. You should try reputable brands such as Shokubutsu and Garnier until you find one suitable for yourself.

Instead of washing my face with facial wash at night before sleep, I wash it after I shower as the pores are enlarged slightly. I also wash with water in the morning and before sleep.
In the past I used a handkerchief to wipe perspiration and towel to dry my face after washing. I realised it was unhygienic and switched to tissues.
Basic good habits such as sleeping early and adequately, drinking plenty of water and exercising will help improve your skin condition gradually but surely.
