Take care.
A recent pic taken last weekend after bathing Lily.. so cute right? I mean.. Lily. I've had her since pri 2 and there's just so much to talk about her. I don't post pics with myself at all, but I really like this pic.I can't think of a better way to describe this except in Singlish, "so stupid lar!" This morning, I knew it was gonna rain and I still chose to wear a new thin shirt out, thinking the jacket I brought would be enough. Ended up with a running nose again in the classroom.
Didn't have enough time to squeeze in a Dota game so I slacked around till it was time to go pick up my mom. I wanted to top up the petrol but didn't do so as my dad didn't pass me the discount card. He can do it tomorrow morning anyway.
After yet another disappointing Dota game where my team-mates were noobs, I had the thought of quitting it and playing a PC game instead like Race Driver:Grid. World of Warcraft? Much too complicated for my liking.
If I open my mouth to ask, my elder sis would definitely buy me a PSP/Nintendo DS/XboX/PS3 with no questions asked. She has offered several times already, but I simply don't want one due to the complicated-ness of the games. What's wrong with me?
After a short nap to recover from the cold I woke up to have dinner and played Dota again. At least this time my team was okay and caused the opposing team to leave instead, not surprising. I do enjoy challenging Dota games whereby I have to outsmart, outlast and outwit (sounds familiar?) the opponents I'm facing.
Totally not in the mood to do project work after the incident on Monday where the effort I spent came to naught when I realised I was doing the wrong one.
Wanna talk about the Forbidden Kingdom which I watched yesterday night (courtesy of the same classmate/groupmate in one of my previous posts). As critics have said, it's just so weird to have an ancient Chinese story.. in English. The conversations wouldn't be weird if they were in Chinese, that's for sure. Then again if the Caucasian protagonist spoke in Chinese it'd be weird too, so I think it'd be much better off with a Chinese protagonist in the first place.
As you may already know, it's the first collaboration between the two major martial art film stars Jacky Chan and Jet Li, it's simply amazing. Other than that, what I notice about the film is the unique blend of English and Chinese filming styles. Most puns in the film worked out well, others didn't. Otherwise I really like the storyline and the De JaVu feeling throughout.
