Oasis Haven
an oasis.. a haven

First Friday lesson of the semester! I skipped all the rest as these Project Management lessons are only 1 hour and I dislike the module (as do most of my class). It's not the lecturer, the module is just too technical. Thinking that it started at 8.30, I reached at 8 to avoid the MRT crowd. Then I called my classmate to confirm the venue and he told me it was at 9! Stoned the hour away in the computer lab browsing hardwarezone and stomp.

Was barely listening in class, only looked up to read lecture slides while playing a silly online game. When the same classmate took out his PSP, we talked about how developers of PSP, Windows, Photoshop and other software always try their best in preventing cracks but the efforts are always futile. Who purchases software nowadays when cracked versions are all over the place? =\

After playing a bit of Metal Slug on my friend's PSP I set off to The Cathay to watch The Dark Knight with "she-who-shall-not-be-named". I reached at 11.50 and while waiting outside the lan shop where I wanted to spend the waiting, I noticed that the sky was getting darker. So I went downstairs to the 7-11 to check whether it sold umbrellas and they did (do). Fortunately the rain stopped by the time she arrived and I saved $5. =X

We walked around the gift shops in Plaza Sing to buy a present for her friend. You owe me $0.10! We entered the theatre early and were saying that there were barely any people, and nearer to the start the upper half filled up.

The Dark Knight is without a doubt, movie of 2008. All the puns worked out extremely well, the storyline is perfect, the graphics are superb and the actors are of cuz amazing. Heath Ledger's performance was definitely out of the ordinary as well.

We left soon after the movie. I apologise again =X for forgetting lunch cuz like I said, I'm used to forgo-ing meals.. sorry! We chatted a bit more until we got to the MRT and parted.

(A lot of details have been left out.. =P)
