A birthday present for my friend.
Going to Ada's birthday celebration at Hyatt Hotel this Saturday, for those who dunno, it's a 5-star hotel located around Orchard Area. Yea, she's rich and good at studies. She's studying medicine London.
Woke up at 10 after a nice dream and went to meet my other friend, JC at Orchard MRT at 12.30. The 3 of us used to work together at Summerhouse in Pac Pacific and I had introduced JC in. The present-hunting began at Wheelock Place. It wasn't about the price, her family's so rich she can already have anything she wants.
In the end we settled for a pen with an engraving of Ada's full name and a name-card holder which are bundled together at the price of $38. We had to call her to ask for her full name and whether she was a left-hander or right-hander, hope she won't be able to guess what it is until she opens it on Sat. We both liked it, it's meaningful and practical, it's something she can keep with her and use in the future as a doctor. And most of all, it's far from our budget!
JC, take care of your wrist, don't let it become worse. See ya on Sat.
(although he doesn't know about this blog)
After getting home I spent the rest of the day doing Visual Basic. It's completed to the extent that it's almost ready for submission now, just need to finish up and let Josh and Ameen take a look.
