Woke up at 7 to answer my mom's usual wake up call, then went back to sleep and skipped cd and wcd classes in the morning cause I didn't feel like getting up nor going to school, didn't miss much anyway. In fact shouldn't have gone in the afternoon either cause nothing much was taught during itos or fom either.. zzz..

I guess it's really time to get busy with projects and revision.. oh well..

When I see cats around in the void deck, I'd always try and touch them. Cats seem so.. quiet.. tame.. peaceful.. and cute.. =D

If you wanna touch a cat, reach out your hand and look out carefully for its reaction. If its back is arched and/or claws stretched, then it means you should just leave it alone else you'd end up with scratches. My Bio/Chem teacher in sec sch taught me that touching the back part of the neck tends to calm the person/animal down.. so if it doesn't run away try to stroke its neck first. Some cats don't like being stroked at particular areas such at beneath its mouth or stomach so don't let your guard down.

There was one night after work when I went to the playground to sit and listen to some music and there was a cat. I had my legs crossed and after stroking it, it cuddled itself onto my legs.. so I just sat there for an hour enjoying the music and the scenery..

Almost had a full-blown migraine again.. good thing a nap stopped it.. *phew*

Before I slept I watched half of The Notebook.. I can't think straight right now.. so I'll leave you with the book's synopsis. Yeah I have the book.. =)

'Set amid the austere beauty of the North Carolina coast, The Notebook begins with the story of Noah Calhoun, a rurual Southerner recently returned from the second world war. Noah is restoring a plantation home to its former glory, and he is haunted by images of the beautiful girl he met fourteen years earlier, a girl he loved like no other. Unable to find her, yet unwilling to forget the summer they spent together, Noah is content to live with only memories.. until she unexpectedly returns to his town to see him once again..

Like a puzzle within the puzzle, the story of Noah and Allie is just the beginning. As it unfolds, their tale miraculously becomes something different, with much higher stakes. The result is a deeply moving portrait of love itself, the tender moments and the fundamental changes that affect us all. It is a story of miracles and emotions that will stay with you forever.."

It's 6am and I just got back from a chalet & BBQ the current peer leaders organised. It was great talking to my juniors again - the people whom I used to work with.. We used to spend days and nights at times organising programmes for lower secondary students and sec 1 orientation & leadership camps together. The small feeling of achievement and satisfaction when everything was over is irreplacable.. cause we could see that we had touched the students' hearts in one way or another.. and cause we did it together.. At first I didn't want to go, but decided to go anyway though I was tired from badminton with my class earlier.. I had to..

Before I came home I had a long chat with the 2004 head of peer leaders.. he made me realise a lot of things and re-emphasised what I should get along to doing.. thanks.. Well.. there's a joint 5-day leadership camp between St Patrick's School and St Joseph's Institution next week.. I'm still considering whether I should go to help out though I've already graduated.. It's a good chance to just walk away from everything for a while and think things through..
