In the first place, I wanted to work because I didn't want to just stay at home and waste my time in front of the computer anymore. Besides, I'm using a laptop which isn't meant for long hours of gaming and is supposed to last me for a few more years.

I've been working at Summerhouse in Pan Pacific hotel opposite Suntec for near a month now. On the MRT ride home with 3 of my colleagues, I suddenly thought about how it would be like to leave the place when it's time to start school again. Some of them are really good people and I enjoy working with them. They give their best, unlike the rest who slack around. Working there has taught me the harshness of real life, realising that it is very tiring and that money does not come easy.
